english and a little bit of italian and portuguese cuz are pretty similar to spanish

Know basic stuff, like me gusta much comer (it pleases me to eat a lot) and qual es tu nombre (what is your name) but I learned that like 4 years ago and I'm relearning it this year. The class is soooooo boring and I almost fall asleep everyday. Fun...

"me gusta mucho comer" LOL and its"cual" and not "qual" do u have letter ñ on your keyboard?

wait?! Dora speak in spanish? here in latin america she speak english... LOL

Oh yeah thats right. sorry. :-\ I don't pay too much attention and my Spanish sucks. Im terrible with languages. And I don't have that symbol.
Do you mean Dora teaches you English? Because she talks in English and teaches us Spanish.

English, and I'm learning French.
So, I'm not terribly good at it XD But it's coming along.
I'm going to France this summer, for two weeks, and going to a french school so hopefully that will help!

I'm able to speak German (native language) and English (learning for 8 years) quite well, in addition I can also converse in Spanish (learning for 5 years), but not as good as in English. I learn French for 1/2 half year  and in future in want to speak more languages (Russian, Japanese, Italian, Swedish). I also learned a bit Portuguese but I gave it up, because it sounds terrible for me :S
Languages are so cool :D

There are so few language fans out there xD Of ALL people I know 2 (including me) like learning languages. I don't understand why xD

Yes, German is quite hard, even Germans have problems with it, sounds funny, doesn't it? But if you can speak German, learning other languages is much easier. The vocabulary is a mishmash of Latin and the Nothern languages. You have the different cases which are VERY difficult, but if you can use them, Russian or Spanish aren't such big problems anymore.

I think for British it's VEEEEEEERY difficult because you hardly use cases, poor you :S
YT is also one of the reasons why I learn languages, I want to communicate with my subscribers in their language. So sometimes you find Spanish comments under my videos ;D

One question: how does German sound for you? it's a question my friend and I often ask ourselves^^

Lol xDD Maybe we're little aggressive biests ;D Dark German Empire xDD Maybe that's the reason why BBC's Daleks spoke German on Journey's End and why the villians often have a German or Russian accent...

I think Scottish sounds funny :D Like you tell a joke all the time xD

I think it's fascinating learning a language.
But that step over the bridge from thinking before you talk, forming the grammar rules and words, and then being fluent, boggles my mind :0

If you learn it long enough, you stop thinking about it. I never think while speaking English.
